This review is from: How to Knit Socks: Three Methods Made Easy (Paperback)
thought this book would give a bit more info but it is still a good one for a beginner sock knitter, it is american so watch out for differences in the language, measurements and the wool ply, lacking in a basic pattern for children if you want to knit a sock for 4-10 yrs in dk,and only one pattern for men.Not a bad book though.

Helpful book, but very, very frustrated because there are no details as to what the various yarns, used in the illustrations, are called. I would most particularly like to knit the "Basic Sock on One Long Circular Needle" in the yarn shown, but have no idea about where to find it! Would very much appreciate any information on this.
