Nice lock, one minor irritation,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)

This seems like a great lock. Feels pretty sturdy and has a nice feature whereby one of the sides of the D is bent so that the lock sort of hinges on the D. Sounds silly, but it makes it an awful lot easier that my old D-Lock to lock the bike up. One of the main reasons for purchasing this was the mount that allows you to strap it to your bike. It's a great little tool, but looks (especially after reading over-complicated instructions) far more difficult to fit that in actually is - I had it fitted to my bike in a jiffy. Or I would've done had I taken the bottle cage into account - I had to move the mount a couple of times until I could position the lock and my water bottle on the frame at the same time.
The cable you get with it is a nice addition if you're out on a ride with more people I suppose, or if you want to secure your front wheel as well, but it doesn't look like it would stand up to a pair of bolt cutters. I suspect mine will reside in the garage most of the time.
The one minor irritation about this lock is the protective plastic sheath that turns to cover the actual lock and protect it from the elements. Great idea in theory, great idea if you're riding on a perfectly smooth road surface. The reality is that this little sheath will turn your well maintained, silent running bike into a giant rattle. I will be "modding" my lock as soon as I get home this evening to either (forcibly) remove this bit of plastic, or glue it in place.
