inspiring photos and some delicious sounding recipes but I somehow haven't found myself racing off to make any of these dishes. Perhaps if you are planning a vegetarian dinner party then this is the book for you but for day to day, there are better options.

I don't understand your review. You give this book an average rating because the recipes are not 20 minute day-to-day recipes, yet you say "inspiring photos and some delicious sounding recipes". This is a book of recipes from a GOURMET restaurant and not McDonalds!!!! Would you make the same comment about Heston Blumenthal's book? Would you expect recipes from the Fat Duck (voted #2 restaurant in the world) to be something you just throw in the oven and wait 10 min?!!! I know Denis Cotter is not Heston Blumenthal but he is a ground breaking vegetarian cook, and a lot closer to the likes of Mr Blumenthal than you and I will ever be.
