an enjoyable read,
This review is from: The Cob Builders Handbook: You Can Hand-sculpt Your Home: 8 (Paperback)
The Cob Builders Handbook was really good to read. A very good simple starting place for learning about building with cob. I enjoyed reading it.
But my one frustration on occasions was the book's failure to quantify certain statements!!! For example it would talk about issues you might need to consider in "very wet climates" (or something to that effect). I would have liked it to add - perhaps in brackets - "(over 1500mm rain per year)" or some sort of quantification to that effect!!!
Mostly its simple generality was very good. But its failure to be more specific in quantifying certain statements means that I can't give it the full 5 stars!
