Romantic, Funny, Gripping!,
This review is from: The Xmas Factor (Paperback)
I read this book in a day. I couldn't put it down. It was absolutely brilliant. Lovely and romantic, sad, funny all rolled into one and was very gripping. It follows the lives of a journalist and her little boy; one of her employees and her boyfriend, who is the daughter of another couple that the book follows - her widowed father who has recently married a teacher.
The book follows the trials and tribulations of these sets of couples and their love life. They all meet at Christmas through a variety of incidents and end up having the best Christmas of their lives. Its a lovely happy ending after much heartache! There's lots of lessons to learn from it too and how the best Christmas ever is when true values and simple principles are appreciated.
Throughout the book it provides lovely snippets about christmas and fun tips eg injecting baby tomatoes with vodka as a snack for guests! and spraying a pineapple with gold spray for your Christmas centre piece!
I don't want to reveal too much, but its brilliant! Don't just wait for Xmas to read it either, buy it now!
