Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Dark Enchantment (Kindle Edition)
Anya Bast most certainly knows how to keep her readers hooked that's for sure. Having read this in record time, I now find that the next book won't be out until January next year.
This story once again revolves around the Fae trying to outwit the odious Phaendir by retrieving the final piece of the Bosca Fadbh.
A human woman called Charlotte has been located by the Fae who have discovered she has hidden memories from centuries ago and could literally hold the key to where the last piece of the Bosca Fadbh is. To get her into Piefferburg, Kieran who is a Dream Wraith amongst other things, starts visiting her in very erotic dreams. The Fae engineer it so that Charlotte has to make a visit to Piefferburg on so called business but what they really want is for one of their own to delve deep into her DNA and extract the information they need on the location of the artifact they so desperately need.
Needless to say when Charlotte meets Kieran and finds out what he has done to her, she isn't best pleased and socks him one on the jaw. Her initial hate of Kieran and all things Fae is down to her Father who brought her up to believe that all Fae are evil and dangerous. However, Charlotte has a mind of her own and comes to discover that the plight of the Fae really is looking bad.
Little does she know what is in store for her and also for Kieran who was placed under a curse centuries ago because of the crimes his twin brother perpetrated.
I don't wish to say more because this really is a good read if you like books about the Fae, be it Seelie or Unseelie Courts or even both.
