Great quality USB 3 portable drive at a good price!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: HGST Touro Mobile MX3 1TB External Hard Drive - Black (Personal Computers)
I was looking for a well made, self powered USB 3 hard drive. Only been using it for a few hours today to store music files, but it feels like I made a good choice here. The drive is silent in operation. It has a useful blue LED drive activity light at the cable end of the unit. The supplied cable is well made and around 40cms in length. The great thing about the drive is that I can use it with my USB 3.0 laptop or any other USB 2 based laptops or PC's... A good deal in my book!

Can you please tell me which seller you got this from? I can see that the one sold and dispatched by Amazon.co.uk takes 1 to 2 months to dispatch.

The one which I ordered from Amazon three days ago arrived today having received an email yesterday advising that stock had arrived so perhaps the predicted dates are pessimistic to avoid pi..ing people off:-)

I have two now and each one says 'Hitachi', both on the back and on the front. Mine were direct from Amazon and look just like the one in the photo on the product page. Possibly more recent ones have Touro on the front but I am s
sure Hitachi would still show their name on the back and on the box. I'm confused as well:)
PS - If you are a magic fairy, you will soon solve the conundrum.

Ken Tyke says:
RPM not relevant as transfer speed will be primarily determined by the USB2/3 connection and drivers.
