This review is from: Cambridge First Certificate in English 4 for Updated Exam Student's Book with answers: Official Examination Papers from University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (FCE Practice Tests) (Paperback)
I ordered this FCE practice exam book, like I have so many others, expecting the CDs to accompany it, however I was dumbfounded as
I realised the CDs were not included in this mediocre, awkwardly-sized book. The tiny format of this book
is the icing on the cake, making photocopies for students a headache. Do not buy this book!

ESOL teacher says:
You were dumbfounded? I'm sorry, but is it not obvious from the price of 11.85 that the CDs are not included? Looking down the listings for this book, it is very clear that there are different formats; student books with and without answers, self-study books and CDs. Any disappointment is owing to your lack of attention and not to the book itself. As for photocopying, shame on you! You are defrauding the authors and denying the publishers money which can be invested in developing new books. Only Cambridge produce books of REAL past papers and their 'Cambridge Learner Corpus' is a unique and invaluable resource for teachers which I am happy to support by buying their books. Martin may be happier with cheapo fake papers produced by other publishers (and including the CDs!), based on someone's impression of the exam, but for professionals the only the real option are real papers that candidates have sat in the past. DO BUY THIS BOOK - get a self-study pack for the teacher (including the CDs), and student's books without answers for the students.
