Definitely not a thriller,

This review is from: Every Vow You Break (Kindle Edition)
This is supposed to be a thriller, and it categorically isn't. I read it on the Kindle, and I had already consumed 86% of the text - I checked - before anything of the slightest note or interest happened. The first three quarters of the book could quite easily be binned and the remaining section repackaged as a short story or novella. It was incredibly frustrating. I kept on expecting something - anything - to happen, and it simply didn't. It could be argued that the author was building up the characters and the tension, but frankly I just found the whole exercise boring and very, very dull. I won't be buying another book by this particular writer.

I'm about halfway through this book and you're right, nothing has happened so far! I read the authors first book 'Cuckoo' and really enjoyed it. I bought this hoping it was a similar kind of thing. I was wrong...so far it's dull...
