The thought of having a bluetooth android watch that can do facebook, rss, email, txt, etc. sounds awesome. While this device does do all of that, it's extremely buggy. I am using my LiveView with an HTC Droid Incredible. The liveview app drains your battery, even if you're not using it and bluetooth is off. Thank god for task killers! Anyway, here is what typically happens when I try to use my LiveView and it works:
I power on my LiveView and turn on bluetooth on my incredible.
I press the upper right button on the LiveView and it shows like it's trying to connect to my Incredible.
It does not connect, so I have to press it again... maybe 2 more times.
It finally connects and brings me my LiveView icons that I use.
I can scroll to the different options and use it as intended.
At this point, it either loses connection and stops functioning or after about 30 seconds of actual use, the LiveView starts buzzing/vibrating out of control, and I have to hit the top buttons several times to make it stop. When I say loses connection and stops functioning, I mean hitting the top right button does nothing but make the time flash in the upper left hand corner. it's very frustrating. The only way to fix it at this point is to reboot it.
When it doesn't stop functioning and it vibrates, it's because it's receiving tons of rss and facebook updates all at once. After all of those updates complete and I try to use it... it stops functioning again, and I have to reboot it.
I've been using this LiveView now for a few weeks, and I can't think of a time when I didn't have to reboot it to make it work. If you don't mind dealing with all of this, then this device is for you!
