This is a great book.
It is about the woman now known as Helen of Troy, the most beautiful woman ever. But this book is about her childhood and young lady years. Aside from this, the story is different from what is usially told because Helen is a tomboy. Among other things she wants to learn how to swordfight and how to ride a horse like a man.
The plot is fantastic. I love it when a woman takes matters into her own hands. She does what she has to, but still she makes her own dreams come true.
The book is an easy read, because is it writen in an easy language. Sometimes however this becomes a bit too much. But must of the time it is fine.
