This review is from: Hozelock Aqua Control Water Timer (Garden & Outdoors)
The functionality is fine, but after about 3 years it leaked water into the electrical compartment and died. It was kept indoors during winter so that wasn't the problem. In order to trace the leak I connected it to the water tap with the battery cover removed and turned on the water. I immediately saw water seeping thought the internal wall. I then dismantled the unit and discovered the seal had failed where the motor shaft connects to the valve. Comments

This must be a recent manufacturing fault as I have had one of these for 12 years and its been fine.
