Soul-Centric Western Wisdom,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Mist-filled Path: Celtic Wisdom for Exiles, Wanderers and Seekers (Paperback)
This book is not a dry analysis of western spirituality. It oozes a mystical charm throughout and tantalises the reader with glimpses of transient worlds the author has obviously experienced. That said, it is well cited throughout and effortlessly reconciles many of our spiritual systems (being even sympathetic of Christianity!). The author outlines the soul of western spirituality beautifully, blending aspects of druidism and shamanism without drawing distinctions or boundaries. As Eastern systems are consciousness-centric, so this is soul-centric and more accessible to the western psyche. We have a vast spiritual heritage in the West and Frank has provided us with an essential reference you will want to keep, to remind you of the song of the universe and the heritage we have sadly left behind. One needs a reminder, a spark, to rekindle our ancient souls, and if you open to it - this book might just do that.
