I never liked The Jam, Style Council had its moments, and I've never bought or even wanted to listen to a Paul Weller album. It's only by chance I listened to samples of Sonik kicks, and thought wow where you have been all my life. Sonik kicks is well written, it's original, innovative, well produced and brilliantly performed.
Sorry Mr Weller I dismissed your genius for so long, I hold my head in shame. It's the best album I've heard in a long long time and blows your contemporary's out of the water
