There should be a british standard for scooters that this would not pass,
= Durability: = Fun: = Educational:
This review is from: Ozbozz Nebulus TX Scooter (Toy)
No lock nut on the headset bearings, so they came loose after first play on the scooter, adjustment on the bearing nut is terrible so when upright stem is tight the steering is stiff, when steering is acceptable the bearing nut is too loose and play in the upright and will obviously vibrate looser.
The handlebar grip inserts flop around like a lizard in a tin, secured only by a pushfit poppet adds to imprecise nature of steering.
whether it was just the one we received or is more standard, other recent reviews on this page seem to indicate these scooters are commonly crap. I wondered if we received the one the other complainant about the handlebars sent back.
I'd say these scooters not even suitable for the most slow and tentative of riders as the steering is so imprecise.
It is not fair on people who purchase these scooters thinking they will get a safe enough scooter for Children. Only positive thing to say is it looks quite good, so if you want a scooter to stick on your mantelpiece then maybe this is the one.
