Almost brilliant, shame about the 'soups'!,

I've been a follower of the low fat high carb raw vegan diet for years because it suits me with my lousy digestion. I brought this book because I was interested in the theory behind it which I felt that addressed well for me (especially the sugar-insulin-fruit thing). I also liked the reassurance regarding fruit to veg ratio, I tend towards 90% fruit with less leafy greens because I find I can digest this better. The other reason I brought the book was because I was really interested to see what the meal plan was like and what it consisted of. The book loses a star on this point IMO. The meal plans are well mapped out and detailed with weights and calories, but of the ones I've tried I have to conclude they are utterly disgusting! I am sticking with my own creations and I'm glad I found my own way before reading this book as some of those 'soups' would well and truly have put me off!
