Amazing suction power, but that should not be the only thing to consider when buying a vacuum cleaner,
This review is from: Dyson DC32 Animal Full-size Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner Engineered for Removing Pet Hair (Kitchen & Home)
I purchased it in September at a bargain price. I have had several vacuum cleaners in the past (AEG, Hoover, Philips) but this one has the highest suction power ever. Although I have had my persian & turkish hand-made carpets professionally cleaned, they got a "fresh" look and made me wonder where all this small dust participles and fibres were hidden. Same goes for the machine-made carpets in kids room (80% wool -20% acrylic). The "rejuvanating effect" is so vivid that I think that by doing it frequently that may has negative impact in the cohesion of the fibres. Given that this cleaner is heavy and there is only the handle trigger to control the suction power, you should consider it if you are not strong enough to move it around. Its noisy and the end nozzle is thicker than my previous vacuum, so I can't use it under the couch. Storage is a bit of a problem. In brief: The most powerful vacuum in the market that cleans everything with a single pass. But, its not easy-to-use and store away. I now consider that the Dyson City that has 60W less suction power, would be a far more practical and still very effective vacuum for my wife.
