1.0 out of 5 stars Buy the first album instead..., 10 Dec 1999

This review is from: Postcards From Heaven (Audio CD)
This album sees one of our most promising bands turning into a 'Heart FM' washout... Everything is sooo MOR, it's hard to believe. Having said that, it's okay for doing homework to, because it is so blatantly inoffensive.

Tim H says:
I so disagree, the album is a step up from Ocean Drive. As Runrig, why make another Play Gaelic, when bands needs to grow, progress. Why are people stuck with the past? Ocean Drive is Ocean Drive; this is Postcards From Heaven, they need to change, be dynamic, be different. Afterall it was this album that had them the most success with High, Raincloud; but I love this album; it's different, it's fresh and new. I dont look to see if they do EXACTLY like the first album. Clannad one example; why make another Debut album; look where they got when they progressed. Same with gaelic bands; each album is different than the last but bringing new fans which I think is more important then having to worry their second album isn;t like the first one.
