I must admit when I bought this product I was a little sceptic just because of the varied reviews I had read about it. Was I going to waste my money? I have 2 small young children and up until my purchase I was cleaning my floors on my hands and knees as I felt this was the only thing that worked well, as I found all mops useless, however I was finding it hard to find the time to do this job regularly, yet with young children I need to. I have porcelain matte tiles (ivory) in my kitchen which easily show streaks should you use a antibacterial wipes to make do in between floor washes, and the rest of the area is hardwood and vinyl else where. Upon arrival of product I would say I set it up (without reading instructions) within few minutes flat...easy. Dying to give it a go, I filled up the tanks and plugged in. And wow - I am not disappointed. The mop glides effortlessly around all my floor types with it's swivel head action, and I think does a really good job of getting into corners. I used continual steam through the whole cleaning process and my floors looked streak free at the end of it. Did they take ages to dry? Well it's summer and warm currently, and probably took 10 minutes to dry from start to finish. Not bad....no more than my hand mopping efforts. Best thing though, the job is done in few minutes and I have a lot of floor space downstairs. That means I can get the mop out on a regular basis knowing it's only a five minute job each time, instead of the usual 30-40 minute job that it was before (with lots of hard work required). I think the key to not getting your floors soaking is to not clean too slowly over the floor area....maybe why previous users had problems perhaps? As for smell, not offended at all by the fresh citrus smell left behind. And to get it for just over £70 on Amazon, I feel I had bagged a bargin.
