This review is from: The EdenPromise Bible New Testament (Kindle Edition)
Whilst I agree that the word "church" has problematic associations for some people - I would be interested to know why this would be seen to justify yet another version of the New Testament.
The EdenPromise New Testament is not a new translation from the original Koine Greek. Instead, it is taken from the "Open English Bible - NT", itself a reworked "Twentieth Century New Testament". There are no copyright restrictions on either, both are freely available in various formats. Minor editing has been done; as claimed the word "church" has been replaced with "ekklesia". Curiously, the name "Maryam" appears to be used throughout, yet other names remain anglicized.
