This was purchase to give wifi functionality to my Samsung UE40EH5300. It is a helpful bit of kit to have as it means I don't need to trail cables from the router in the hallway through to the living room. I think when I bought it, it cost around £30, which I was very happy with as I had bought the TV in the post xmas sales and had got more than £30 off the set itself.
It is fairly easy to install, but on the first attempt, it did disconnect a couple of times, and when retried refused to locate our network. To those not that familiar with tech, if this happens, don't panic! What we did was simply turned off the TV at the mains (not just on standby) took th dongle out, turn the router off, waited a few seconds then turned it all on again and plugged the dongle back in and it reinstalled fine. Occasionally it plays up and won't connect, but most times if you just turn the TV (and router) off, wait a few seconds and turn it on again it sorts itself out. Because it is (only on rare occasions) tempremental I have dock one star.
