Could you say that again please?,
This review is from: True Blood Boxed Set 2 (Sookie Stackhouse Vampire) (Paperback)
I read all these books in the space of a week, so they were sort of all merged together-this might be why i found it so irritating when the main character (Sookie) continued to repeat herself. She constantly tells of the plots of the former books, and the problem she has faced-over and over and after a while it just gets boring. I can understand this might be useful if you've had to wait for the next book to be published and need a refresh of the story line so far, but if you've not been with Sookie since the beginning then it's an unwelcome annoyance.
This isn't to say i didn't enjoy the books, they were a pleasant read. but even now (a day after reading the last published book)i don't think i could write an accurate description of what happens. Things seems to muddle together in a big bloody blur. Maybe that's just me :)
worth reading, defiantly.

I know what you mean. I was reading them one after another and when I was reading the sixth book I forced myself to take a break because like you said, I couldn't remember what happened in each book. It all seemed to become a big blur. So after I took breaks after each book, it helped a lot and I was able to enjoy them a lot more!
