Very poor scanning/printing,

This review is from: Liturgical Services: Liturgies and Occasional Forms of Prayer Set Forth in the Reign of Queen Elizabeth (Classic Reprint) (Paperback)
Obviously, a very interesting book, seemingly first published by the Parker Society and Cambridge University Press in 1847. Contains a lot of interesting material, including the 1559 Book of Common Prayer and a variety of other prayers published during the reign of Queen Elizabeth. Please note that it does not, however, include (because the original 1847 edition was not published with) the Psalter.
Unfortunately, the scanning of much of the text is very poor resulting in far too many pages that have such faint or light text that they are either not legible or only barely legible with some difficulty. I have returned the book and Amazon very reasonably have refunded my purchase. I have now downloaded exactly the same text, but in a much clearer form, from Google eBooks for free! This can be read with ease and no difficulty on my iPad in Google's Play Books. I'm not sure whether there is a way that it can be downloaded or transferred into Kindle (where 99% of my ebooks reside). Guess Google would not be overly keen to facilitate that but others with greater knowledge of e-formats will know better than I do about that.
Not the same experience as having the paperback and its contents are not quite so quickly accessible but at least you can read it clearly and easily and it is free.
