New lower priced black basic kindle,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Kindle, 6" E Ink Display, Wi-Fi (Previous Generation - 5th) (Electronics)
This arrived this morning and it's lovely. Really light, and the new black and lower price are excellent. Comparing this with my husband's pewter coloured kindle 4, it does seem to have better contrast and slightly sharper text. I realise that the colour of the bezels may give an illusion, but I have overlapped the screens and it still seems a bit better. At £69, there's no excuse to wait any longer. Enjoy :D

Mrs. J. Bray says:
I've had my kindle a while now and wouldn't change it for the world. Its light, convenient and does exactly what I need it to do. I am a book convert and now I can't go in a book shop in the same way I used to. I am addicted to the daily deal and religiously tune in every day for the next best deal. If I haven't bought anything after a week I treat myself to a full price, usually recent release kindle download.
I tested the kindle in hot sun over the summer. It was a pleasure to use. No soggy pages. No trying to screw up my eyes to read the pages or difficulty turning pages whilst trying to sunbathe and not use too much energy.
I even downloaded a few copies of the guardian as I was missing the local news in the UK. So convenient and much cheaper than buying an out of date paper for five times the price.
I enjoyed the experimental internet page and was able to sucessfully purchase my daughters school shoes whilst taking advantage of the free hotspot by the pool. It kept going for hours.
I have found that the kindle has changed my way of life and now I don't get a creased book or one covered in juice or the remains of my lunch in my bag on the way home.
Its saved me loads of money as I have been able to review a book before buying and basing my choice on previous customer reviews.
Don't get the touch one as you still get the feeling you are reading a book without the good chance you will loose your page.
