Ridiculously intense Australian techno/gabba/grindcore,

Holy hell! That’s the first thing that goes through your head when you hear this album. Even if you’re already a fan of the Aussie lunatics (allegedly one of those masked men is none other than ex-Neighbours legend Jason Donovan!) as I was, you still can’t fail to be impressed by it’s ungodly ferocity. It follows the same formula as their incredible debut, in that the format is basically grindcore backed up with distorted 909s cranked up to breaking point, but the bar has been raised this time, no doubt about it. However, the fact that they use a drum machine shouldn’t be a problem to grindcore purists, of which I am one by the way, as the band now have officially the fastest drummer in the world within their ranks (over 1000bpm, very impressive!), to keep things traditional. Nice. Basically, with the possible exception of Brutal Truth’s second album which is aurally destructive in a totally different way, this could well be the most extreme metal record ever released. If that’s what floats your boat, you need to check this out. Obviously, it won’t get the boys on to Top Of The Pops, but for it’s sheer heaviness (take note, fans of Linkin Park, this is what real heavy music sounds like, not your manufactured bunch of no-hopers) it’s well worth a listen.
