1.0 out of 5 stars Why is Kindle price so high?, 16 April 2012
This review is from: The Litigators (Kindle Edition)
I thought Kindle books were meant to be cheaper. It says this price is set by the publisher (Hodder). Well, much as I like John Grisham I refuse to be gouged by the publisher and will not pay a higher price for an E-book that costs them nothing to print, pack and ship to me. The price set by Hodder here is dearer than the hardback version on Amazon. Come on Hodder, stop ripping your readers off!

And what is your opinion of the book, you have read it? Otherwise why would you be commenting on a review page.
If you have any other issues address them to the appropriate people. NOT Here.

I read it 2 years ago. I have read all Grisham's books, and think he is a first class writer. This is a very good book. But I disagree with he and his publisher's pricing policy, and as Amazon probably is the largest seller of his books I can think of no better way or place to make the point. Hence my rating.
If you are just buying it now over 2 years after it was published you get it at the cheaper Kindle rate. At publication time the Kindle price is much higher, despite the fact it costs them nothing to print and distribute it.
