Good, though too straight forward much of the time,

This review is from: Plot and Structure: Techniques and Exercises for Crafting a Plot that Grips Readers from Start to Finish (Write Great Fiction) (Paperback)
While this book is pretty good at explaining the fundamentals of plotting a story it falls a bit short of depth. About a third of the content here felt too obvious to have to be written down. It is easy enough to read so points for that but I breezed trough this in three days without getting the sensation I actually learned a whole lot. And that's coming from someone who has no experience whatsoever in writing any sort of fiction. If you want a simple down to earth book that describes the basic of what plotting entails then I by all means invite you to get this book but personally it left me craving for more. I would rate this product 3.5 stars.
