Poor, Smaller, Less Impressive,
This review is from: Doctor Who Wave 2 Action Figure - The 12th Twelfth Doctor Regenerated (Toy)
I collect Doctor Who merchandise & have all the 5" inch figures of all the incarnations of the Doctor's in various guises yet the last Eleventh Doctor figure & now this new regenerated Twelfth Doctor figure are both very poor figures indeed.
1)The 3.75 scale is far to small for this type of figure.
2)Due to the smaller size the figure loses a lot of detail from the features & ends up looking very plastic.
3)Why release a figure in the Eleventh Doctor costume?, Why not wait & release a figure of the Twelfth Doctor in his new threads later in the year to tie in with the new series.
I much prefer the 5" inch scale as they contain much more detail in the features & outfits as these smaller scale versions have hardly any detail.
The only positive comment I can make is the figure does attach to a stand if you want it too.
These figures are losing there quality & due to a smaller size I shall no longer purchase figures of this poor quality until the size & detail is restored to the previous 5" inch scale.

My thoughts exactly.I feel that Character has betrayed all it's 5" adult collectors in favour of selling dirge to the kiddies & older figures that they can reissue in crap 3.75 mode.

Yes I completely agree these are very poor figures & lack detail & also feel DW collectors getting a raw deal here.
Thankfully there is a Time Of The Doctor 5 Inch figure set exclusive to Forbidden Panet International out 30th September with interchangeable heads of the Eleventh Doctor + older Eleventh Doctor & Twelfth Doctor heads.
Many thanks for you vote & comments, feedback is always appreciated.
