Brilliantly helpful book!,
This review is from: The Food Hospital (Paperback)
This is a brilliant and beautiful book. There's loads of information for everyone - can't wait to make the hair loss salad for my husband! Also masses of help on what to eat and not eat for all types of conditions. I hate the idea of popping pills and this feels like you can really make a difference through what you eat. Yummy recipes too. Can't wait for the series to kick in!

So what does this book - or the series - tell you that is not already available on various websites or covered by Diet Doctor etc.

Interesting that all 3 people who have reviewed this book so far have also only reviewed other channel 4 books or books by tv personalities.....

Well assuming they'll be reading this J Barr here's some feedback for them - 0nly 45 recipes?? I love the idea of this book but would expect at least 150+ recipes for the price (even with Amazon discount).

For less than a fiver you can get this Medicinal Cookery: How You Can Benefit From Nature's Edible Pharmacy which matches ailments to recipes. Also if you look on the Food Hospital facebook page there's some information provided by Joe Public.

I think I bought totally different copy of the book. There is mainly one recipe per diseases. These 5star reviews just confirm my suspicion that some reviews are paid for.
