Not a gripping read,
This review is from: Another Day in the Frontal Lobe: A Brain Surgeon Exposes Life on the Inside (Paperback)
Although Katrina comes across as an extremely likeable person, one gets the feeling she doesn't want to divulge too much in the way of the REAL goings on in the day to day life of her profession - this is hardly an exposé as the title of the book suggests. She does explain what being a neurosurgeon is all about but there just isn't much to hold one's attention on an ongoing basis. I struggled to get a quarter of the way through the book and then gave up.
