Great game, improved campaign with librarian and better objectives. Last stand tyrannids and chaos is brilliant as an update.
A great improvement to the first one which had slightly repetitive campaign missions.
Only bad thing was, unlike with the original DOW expansions, this only includes one race added and considering the first one had imperial guard in the campaign, they already had parts of a new race which could've easily been created.
Imperial guard should be in the next expansion because they're already half built and they are one of the popular races. Necrons and tau would be an interesting race to add as well, although dark eldar and sisters of battle in the original dawn of war weren't really that popular or asked for.
Can't wait to finish the campaign and also for news on what new races will be added in the next DOW 2 expansion.

Nice points, well appreciated. I've ordered the game and its on the way! I have to say its heartening to hear of the ***** progress made from the original Dawn Of War II (which I thought - just from using the Demo- was incredibly boring; losing the character of the Dawn of War epic, i felt!)
Just wondering, which expansion packs are you mentioning? The Imperial Guardsmen as a race have already been created in the DOW series (Winter Assault,) and added to extensively (Dark Crusade, Soulstorm) - or maybe you mean as an expansion purely of Dawn of War II?
The Sisters of battle and Dark Elder are NOT in the 'original' (They appear in Soulstorm - the 3rd expansion). I am curious about the point you raised about: The Necrons, Tau, Dark Elder and Sisters of Battle not being popular, wanted or asked for.
I know many have been after the Tyranid addition since expansion 1 (fair enough) but to say fully half of the race list is unwanted? That is slightly much I think. The variety offered by all of these races surely enhances the gameplay style. The player also has choice in tailoring their needs to the army that suits their playing style.
