Too similar to what it nominally condemns.,
This review is from: Strange Days (DVD)
It would have been a much better film without the voyeuristic murder scenes. And without giving the general impression of violence and brutality everywhere. It seems to forget that other sorts of life are possible. And everything is solved by the hero and heroine being better at random violence than the professionals, which is silly and a stupid answer to offer.
This is regrettable because there are some positives, particularly going against racial steriotypes. (Which was probably why it flopped in the USA.)
