Good little exercise machine,
This review is from: Body Sculpture BS1370 Twist Stepper with Bungee Cords (Sports)
I bought one of these because I do not have much space for anything larger. I used to do aerobics DVDs, but it wasn't not very sociable to take over the living room to do it when my housemates were around!
The stepper itself feels sturdy and required no assembly (apart from plugging in the little computer thingy). I haven't had any problems with it squeaking, but I would recommend being careful if you are using it upstairs - if you step the steps the entire way down so that they hit the bar at the back it can sound very loud to those downstairs (I have removed the 5th star for this). I've been using it so that I don't fully push the steps down, and it works just as well - in fact it probably makes it a bit more difficult because you have to really control your steps. I would recommend putting something over the bar at the back (I've used the bubble wrap from the packaging) to try and dull any sound you do make if you hit it.
I have managed to work up quite a sweat with it (and I'm not particularly unfit), doing it for around 10 minutes a day (I can get around 700 steps in that time at a reasonable pace). It's a very useful item for doing a general workout, and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to go to a gym or exercise outside. I like to do it whilst watching shows about cakes (not intentional torture!).
Overall, I would say this product has served me well and I'm very happy I bought it.
