A complete handbook in basic plasma physics,
This review is from: Introduction to Plasma Physics (Plasma Physics Series) (Paperback)
A complete and exhaustive handbook in plasma physics every undergraduate and graduate student in plasma physics should have. The deduction of both fluid equations and kinetic equations is clear and the solutions in the relevant limits are well explained and commented. The book is completed with examples and exercises and provides a very good guide for educators. I recommend this book also to the researchers working in the field, who need to "refresh" some basic concepts, as well to scientists who are interested in plasma physics and are looking for a valid guide.
