PROBABLY A VERY GOOD GUITARIST,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)

You know when you're glad you've bought an album albeit for one track, then this is one of those albums. It's predominately a rock album that does'nt flow very well and there are snippits of guitar playing which makes you think this could be very good, but it does'nt progress. As another reviewer said and I agree it's a bit of a mish mash. That aside "Aproximately perfect Heartbreak" is a great blues, yes Blues number. It starts with the guitar turned up to full volume and crackles as if it's soul is trying to burst out, hence the title Approximately perfect Heartbreak. The second half of the track finishes with just the Hammond organ playing. Yes a super track. This should really be a much better album especially as it includes guests Hubert Sumlin and Mick Taylor on guitar which promted me to buy it in the first place. It really does'nt do them any justice.
I'm glad I got the album simply for that one track but I don't think I would play it again. A pity as I'm sure Stephen Dale Petit is very talented.
