A student cookbook for people who can cook!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Good Food: Easy Student Dinners: Triple-tested Recipes (Good Food 101) (Paperback)
I am a fan of the Good food series of cookbooks and this book was no exeption. I am a student starting in september, and have been searching the market for a good cookbook, small but with a variety of cheap recipes, and most importantly, one which doesnt assume that as a student I have never been inside a kitchen before, and this book ticks all the boxes.
With sections on Brainy Breakfasts and Healthy Snacks, Express meals, Dinners for One, One pan wonders, Food for friends, and Easy puds (yum!), there are recipes for every occasion. Every recipe is simple to make, they are split up into two or three stages, and so even the most basic beginner can follow them, and opposite the recipe is a clear picture of the finished food, so you know what your making and what your aiming for!
Definately the best cookbook for students I found so far, I would recommend it to everyone, not just students!

Mrs. Anne J. Cotton says:
I'm looking for a cookbook for my young granddaughter who has just started at Uni but who is living in a rented house with 5 others. They share the kitchen and my guess is they share meals. One of the 'residents' has become her boyfriend so I'm guessing she needs to sometimes make meals for two. After reading the reviews I'm going to purchase this book for her Christmas present along with all of the dried substitutes (garlic, herbs etc) that could be a substitute and maybe some basic kitchen equipment. Thankyou for the reviews and for the book. I will review it after I've heard back from my lovely granddaughter! Good and easy cooking keeps all of our worlds going round nicely.
