Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Toshiba Satellite L755-1J2 15.6 inch Laptop (Intel Core i7-2670QM, 2.20/3.10GHz Turbo, RAM 4GB, HDD 640GB, Bluetooth, Onkyo Speakers, Windows 7 Home Premium) (Personal Computers)
First of all, the computer has 6GB of RAM not 4GB, much better than the product they advertise (really strange). The computer came full of crap software. The sound is good due to the speakers but not as loud as I thought. The Toshiba TruBrite® was very dissapointing, for me its a big screen with standard resolution and performance. I don`t know if it is me, my computer or what, but the touchpad is awful...But in general the features of this laptop are really good, i7 with turbo boost, 6GB of RAM, good HD size, good cooling system (I really like the lateral cooling system of Toshiba).. and less important, nice looking (it is completely plastic). This comment is for the laptop L755-1J2 with i7. In style name (under the product name) you can choose different models among them the i3, i5 and i7. The strange thing is that my comment is available for all of them.

Carlos is quite right. There are several versions in the L755 Satellite series, depending on size of processor and HDD capacity. All other features are more or less the same, hence the series shares the same reviews. I don't share the opinion that the screen is disappointing. It's certainly on a par with my iMac desktop and certainly brighter; shows my photographs quite beautifully, all of which are large file size tiffs and full of detail. I would only use the touchpad if desperate, not because its poor but because I don't like any of them. On every laptop that I auditioned before buying the Toshiba the touchpads were aggravating to use. Thankfully, it can be easily switched off with a dedicated button on the Toshiba.
