This review is from: Luxury Fashion Branding: Trends, Tactics, Techniques (Hardcover)
This book might be OK for very very young readers with no previous exposure to business and especially brand marketing. It is very simplistic and shows very little new insight into the luxury industry and the luxury consumer. Very little up to date information has been included and as I read the book I wondered why I was wasting my time. No mention of consumer psychology leaves the book shallow and very disappointing. I find it strange that there have been positive reviews.

"Luxury insider" says:
This reviewer clearly doesn't know what he is talking about. Luxury Fashion Branding has one full chapter on the luxury consumer psychology (Chapter 3) and another one entirely dedicated to the evolution of the luxury and fashion (Chapter 2). Chapter five of the book analyzes branding and marketing strategies and there is also another chapter on e-retail. I find this book extensively researched, comprehensive and full of relevant information and tips. It I don't think this reviewer has read this book and I suspect that he is driven by other motivations, perhaps jealousy for the success of this book. At least when you make a review, be sure of what you're saying.

You have got to be kidding. Uché or her friend(s) have flooded the reviews with bad advice. This book is far too simplistic to be taken seriously.
