2.0 out of 5 stars Faulty soundtrack., 5 Oct. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Wildest Dream [DVD] (DVD)
I entirely agree with the previous reviewer about the soundtrack.
The music is so loud that the narrator and voices are scarcely audible and entirely incomprehensible.
Anthony Geffen's wonderful film has been ruined.
I have written to 2Entertain about this since there is no point in returning the video to Amazon and getting an identical replacement.

Thanks for the heads up! Any idea if the Blu-ray also suffers from the same issue?

The blu-ray also has the same problem, which really ruins the film. Had to watch with subtitles on. Soundtrack is far too pompus anyway and would detract from the story even if it didn't drown out the narration at times. A shame, as the documentary is an interesting one. Probably worth renting rather than buying.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought the US edition a while back. The audio and video is perfect on that one.

Can anyone confirm the U.S. Blue ray will play on a region B standard UK blue ray player. Thanks Vince
