pretty decent -from a fps fiend!,
This review is from: ShellShock 2: Blood Trails (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
I HAVE only SEEN 1 POSITIVE POST BOUT THIS GAME. The Graphics Are Fine-in The Style Of Cod3-not Ultra Realistic-but Still Decent. The Firefights Are more realistic Too As When Using Ironsights Your Aim Is Not perfectly still-you have To Adjust. There are other nice touches too.I Mean Im Not Saying This Is Cod 4-but What Game Is?-sadly A Cod 4 Isnt Released Every Month-its Like Everyone Would Love To Drive A Veyron, but Since We Cant You Could Still Have Fun Driving A Skyline Or Corvette-thats What This Game Is.We Need To Support Games Like This Or Else We Wouldnt Have Any Decent Games To Play Until A Cod Or Rainbow 6 Comes Around.Only Downside Is I Think For A Full Price Game These Days If You Dont Have Mp You Should Offer A Really Long Single Player-an This Game doesnt Do That-oh an your character sounds irish with the worst american accent ever!btw Its An Easy 1000 Too.A LOT OF NEGATIVE OPINIONS ABOUT THIS GAME WHICH IS FINE-EVERYONES OPINION IS DIFFERENT-BUT THIS IS NOWHERE NEAR CONFLICT,HOUR OF VICTORY.
PEOPLE WERE SAYING THEY SMELL A RAT BECAUSE SOMEONE CONGRATULATED THE DEVELOPER-REBELLION-I THINK ITS A PRETTY GOOD FIRST EFFORT FOR NEXT GEN-THEY MADE SOME GOOD PSP GAMES TOO-AND I DONT WORK FOR THEM!!!IF SOMEONE LEFT A NEGATIVE REVIEW ABOUT A POPULAR MAINSTREAM GAME WOULD YOU SMELL A RAT??

My problem with the 4/5 star reviews is more about the fact no real actual game play is being mentioned at all. If this really is 5* which let us not forget is basically 100% as you have scored, how could you objectively review CoD Waw (excellent) or Far Cry 2 (poor) for example. If you have a read on here and play.com you will see how many people don't mention what the game plays like (over different formats) which seems strange to me.
I completed the 10 levels, and the best thing about the game was the two classic songs that appear over the closing titles. The core game play is poor, you should not have to tap Y when wanting to pick up ammo, qte's have no place in this game, the detection and radius of the bullets varies massively, on the last level, (which i'm sure you have done or at least I would hope so after reviewing the game) the amount of identikit enemies with the same formation and "kill" patterns is just lazy. The first game in 3rd person was a great deal of fun, but alas this is not, although it does have tension in places.
