Not worth the effort.,
This review is from: A Pain in the Toenails: Essay excerpt from The Most Unfeeling Doctor in the World (Unfeeling Doctor Series) (Kindle Edition)
The downloaded sample was only one page long which should of told me something but as the 'book' was only 86 pence I thought it would be worth risking and looked forward to some humerous anecdotes. What a disappointment!! Normally I wouldn't bother with reviewing something so cheap and saying it was poor value for money but this wouldn't have been worth having had it been free. Granted it is described as an essay but I think that description is being over generous and both my husband and myself had read it within 10 minutes....that is how short it is. There is one brief story of a patient with diarrhoea that is not in the least entertaining, followed by a lot of links to the authors pages. Finally there is an even briefer tale of how patients thought she looked too young to be a medic. That is the book in its entirety. The only recommendation I could make is "avoid spending your money" and if I could of given it zero stars I would have....and I have never done that before.
