Not the smallest or the best performance,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: D-Link DWA-140 Wireless N USB Adapter (Accessory)
This is a bit of a chunk so because of its size it's not really practical for laptop use.
Mine although tried in two PCs and a netbook failed to power up so the drivers would not load and it had to be returned. It also comes with a desktop stand which is not mentioned but it probably needs because of its size.
I subsequently bought an Edimax EW-7711UTn which is tiny in comparison and works very well with minimum set up.
I had to add this plug in wireless N device to a Samsung NB30 notebook because the poor on board wireless link would not connect to my Netgear DG834G wireless router.

I'm glad you got the Edimax USB adapter to work as I have had a huge amount of problems getting it installed never mind getting connected to my virginbroadband wireless router.
Nightmare, it's getting returned as we speak
