a breath of fresh air in a group of young musicians who aren't afraid to sound old. in a good way. a lovely blend of harmonicas, accordians, banjos, mandolins and i think there may even be a tuba in there somewhere. catchy melodies, and the harmonies between the alternating male and female lead singers are a joy. having heard the first single "you-go" this was a must buy for me. the band were recently chosen to support seth lakeman and its very apparent he is an influential factor on their music, only alot chirpier. best listened to in an old country pub with a pint of ale and a tapping foot. i ain't seen them live but i reckon it'd be an proper knees-up! if you like noah and the whale, mumford & sons, tom mcrae, beirut, feist, damian rice(track 3)or anything in and around those artists get involved in the keston cobblers club they'll make you smile.
