Interesting thoughts on social media,

I found this book easy to read and digest, with a number of good points and ideas concerning the current landscape of social media. Whether it delivers you to the cutting edge of the form of comms is debatable. You can learn so much about best practice through simply surrounding yourself in social media, checking out what works (and what doesn't) for your peers and your competitors and learning as you go. As an additional handbook to that form of learning, I think the Social Media MBA is a useful tool, but I don't think it's the best starting point for designing and delivering a social media strategy.

Many thanks for the review, sorry to hear the book didn't live up to your expectations! But to your point about learning from best practise, as the case studies in this book has been so well received the sequel out in 6 months will simply be 25 new case studies, back to back, hopefully that will be more to your liking.
