This review is from: Now That I've Found You: A Collection (Audio CD)
For all those people who have never heard of Alison Krauss ( where have you been? ), this is a great introduction to her earlier work without the burden of the occasional song by the "beards" who comprise her Union Station colleagues. For the most part she dispenses with her bluegrass fiddling roots and wanders into twilight reflection on most of these tracks. Taking you far away with tracks like "Baby, now that i've found you" and a ( dare i say it ) version of the Beatles, "I will" superior than the original. Its a wonderful album all round, so buy it, turn it up, turn the light off and enjoy.
p.s. Alison wasnt the first to record "In the palm of your hand" but her version is by far the best.
