Is that really the late great Joe Zawinul grooving over this record? Respect.
When I was fab Traffic weren't the height of fashion and I remember this as a scruffy double album covered in Rizlas and not very good. On the sleeve notes of the re-mastered "John Barleycorn", "On the Road" is described as "disappointing". Oh woe is me, the only disappointment is that I haven't owned this marvellous record for nearly is it really forty years my God !!
Songs - the best from the "Low Spark/Shoot Out" + Glad/Freedom Rider, the recording quality superb and the playing out of this world really - an incredible groove for Stevie and Chris Woods to fly over.
