Review.
Colditz Castle in 1944 during World War 2 the Nazi's appear to be on the verge of defeat in the on going war.

The Seventh Doctor & Companion Ace arrive at Colditz & are captured by the Third Reich whom think they are at first British spies.

But as they have arrived in a time travel capsule the Tardis will the Doctor be able to keep the secrets of time travel out of enemy hands or will the Third Reich use the Tardis to change the course of history becoming victorious in the war standing triumphantly against all whom oppose the Nazi's in this ongoing bloody conflict of World War 2.

This is an outstanding adventure by writer Steve Lyons, No alien monster's here just a very well written audio drama that thanks to some exellent performances by all the cast involved makes this a timeless classic Doctor Who adventure.

Sylvester McCoy & Sophie Aldred both give great performances as The Doctor & Ace as they really are one of the best Doctor/Companion team ups both on tv & audio.

David Tennant gives a very sinister performance as Kurtz a very dark chilling performance.

But Tracy Child's as Doctor Elizabeth Klein is the standout actress here as she portrays many facets of her personality & is a very enigmatic character but draws the listener into wanting to know more about her.

This is a must buy purchase for fan's of Doctor Who at Big Finish as this is truly a classic Doctor Who audio adventure that has stood the test of time.

This is a good one with the Doctor and Ace
Tracey Childs is great to hear as Klein in her ever Who story.
David Tennant's fantastic as the sinster Kurtz and it's his first ever appearance in 'Doctor Who' (second if it comes after Colin Baker which was made after this. Timey wimey). One wonders what made the Doctor choose the face of a Nazi general as well as a daft Scotsman named Jamie.
Sophie's brilliant in this too and this turns out to be a turning point in Ace's character by the end of the story.
Great review. Really enjoyed this. Tim.
