This review is from: Tony Parsons on Life, Death and Breakfast (Kindle Edition)This is not new material, merely a collection of his newspaper columns. This is stated at the start of the book. I have not read these newspaper columns (but have enjoyed his previous books) so new material to me.
Or was it?
Anyone who has read more than one Tony Parsons book will be familiar with the themes in the book. They are repetitive and gets boring. After about a quarter of the way into the book, chapters become a variation on a similar theme.
Not his best book, not worth buying. Get the feeling that this book was pushed out to top up his royalties.
