Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Cheap but cheerful, this little mouse does the job. It does feel cheap. For me, with relatively small male hands, the mouse feels a bit narrow in the hand. Left, right and central scroll/press down button. Rubbery cable, USB connection to computer, and even a little plastic cover over the USB socket. Rather than throw it away, it's now a dust cover on my Kingston Technology 8 GB USB 2.0 DataTraveler SE9H Flash Drive with Metal Casing - Frustration Free Packaging! Bonus. Now, as regards this mouse: once plugged into your computer for the first time, it installs its own driver automatically - takes about one minute. If you want a mouse that works for a very low price, you could do worse than this. It does feel a bit plasticy, but you can't ask for a premium feel at this price. Recommended for economy users or for a travel mouse. As another reviewer said, the mouse cursor might be a bit fast on first installation, but this is not the mouse's fault so don't be giving the little chap a hard time. The mouse, like any pet, needs to be carefully trained, and your mouse may be a little nervous out of the box. To do this, just right click on your desktop, click PERSONALISE, then click CHANGE MOUSE POINTERS, then click on POINTER OPTIONS, then choose your speed and precision settings. That's how it is on Windows 7, so should be similar on Windows 8. Google it if in doubt.
