THE BEST POTTER GAME YET,
This review is from: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Wii) (Video Game)
Ah here we are... the summer blockbusters start rolling out and we get the inevitable tie-in game rubbish. So far we've had TMNT (pants), SHREK THE THIRD (spare us!) and SPIDER-MAN 3 (Noooooo!) to name but a few. But wait, what's this? A movie tie-in game that's a lot more than average? Well bless my Quaffle socks! If indeed Quaffles had socks. Which they, er.. don't.
If you've no idea what Quaffles are then you are indeed no Harry Potter fan so look away now. This game is for those fans who have longed for walking round Hogwarts and wanted to explore at their leisure.
EA have done a wonderful job of bringing the school and characters of JK Rowling's famous books and films to life. Even though THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX is probably the weakest book in the series, the game is packed full of side quests: from tasks to complete for the teachers, to tokens to collect.
Yep, those tokens. It wouldn't be a movie game without them. If you're a Potter fan you'll love this - the only quarrel is that it is maybe a bit too huge... it'll have you playing well until the next game is released, which will hopefully be as good as this. Well done, EA!
